So behold these amazing facts and try hard to hold on to your socks!

1. Getting struck by lighting heats skin up to 50000-degree Fahrenheit (27760 degree Celsius) . That’s hotter than the surface of the sun.

2. A typical pencil can draw a line up to 35 miles long.

3. The human lungs have a surface area of  750 square feet which is equal to  that of one side of a tennis court.

4. Sharks lose up to 30000 teeth in their lifetime!

5.Before the 17th century, the carrots were actually purple. Their familiar orange colour is a result of a mutation.
