5 Amazing Facts To Knock Your Socks Off #5

Here we are again experimenting with different kinds of stuff and in its course, we have a realised that if something is good then it is worth doing again!
These are going to be short posts with the calibre of  great entertainment.


So behold these amazing facts and try hard to hold on to your socks!


1. There is an alarm called ‘Wakie’ where instead of a normal alarm you can be woken up by getting a call from anyone from any part of the world!



2. Benjamin Franklin designed the first official cent of USA , and called it the Fugio and instead of the usual In God We Trust it had written on the coin:  Mind Your Business!



3. In 2011, a 75-year-old Georgian woman, accidentally cut off entire Armenia’s internet access after she accidently sliced through an underground cable while looking for copper.




4. There is a hotline in Germany called ‘Schimpf-los’ which means swear away where people can call to let their steam off after a stressful day at work!



5. The shortest jail sentence in human history was given to a man named Joe Munch who was jailed for one minute in jail!



And here’s the extra one!

6. Africam  is a website that brings you live all day 24/7 video feed of protected area of southern Africa. You can log into it right now!



These were the five facts and they definitely knocked my  socks off when I came across them!

  1. One minute? What about being arrested and placed in a cell?
    Technically, you are in jail, but you haven’t been sentenced.
    Does this mean then…while you’re waiting for your court case, your hours in jail get refunded? lol

    1. Great idea as it seems plausible but it doesn’t happen! 😛
      In Joe Munch case after a proper court case, he has sentenced to one-minute of incarceration! 😀 😀 🙂
